Populating a constraints diagram automatically
Modeler allows you to build up a Constraints Diagram automatically, by populating the diagram with information from the dictionary. You can populate from a selected item, or you can populate the diagram as a whole.
To populate the diagram with missing links:
Right-click in the free space on the Constraints Diagram, and select Populate > Links.
The diagram is populated with any links that exist between constraints and types on the diagram.
To populate the diagram with dictionary items:
Right-click in the free space on the Constraints Diagram, and select Populate > Constraints > Constraint Types.
The diagram is populated with all constraints or constraint types that exist in the dictionary.
To populate the diagram for a selected constraint or type:
Right-click the constraint or type on the diagram, and select Populate > Constraints > Constraint Types.
The diagram is populated with constraints or constraint types linked to your selected item in the dictionary.
To populate the diagram with links to a selected constraint or constraint type:
Right-click the item on the diagram, and select Populate > Links.
The diagram is populated with links associated with your constraint or constraint type in the dictionary.
