Applying constraints
You can apply constraints to the items in your model. You apply a set of related constraints to a diagram through the constraint types.
To apply a constraint to an item:
1. Right-click the item, and select Links > Dictionary Items.
2. In the Types list, select Constraints (Applied).
3. In the left pane, select the appropriate folder or Package to display the required Constraints in the middle pane.
4. In the middle or right pane, select the check boxes associated with the Constraints you want to apply.
5. In the middle or right pane, clear the check boxes associated with the items you do not want to apply.
6. Click OK
To apply a constraint to diagrams:

3. In the left pane, select the appropriate folder, Package or item to display the required diagrams in the middle pane.
4. In the middle or right pane, select the check boxes associated with the diagrams you want to link.
5. In the middle or right pane, clear the check boxes associated with the diagrams you want to unlink.
