Action node view options - activity diagram
The Action Node entry is used for setting the view options of the following item types: Accept Event Actions, Call Behavior Actions, Call Operation Actions, Clear Association Actions, Create Link Actions, Create Object Actions, Destroy Link Actions, Destroy Object Actions, Opaque Actions, Read Extent Actions, Read Link Actions, Read Self Actions, Read Structural Feature Actions, Send Signal Actions, Test Identity Actions and Value Specification Actions.
The following view options are available for all action nodes:
Show Action Type - specifies that the type of the item is shown, such as, «Accept Event», «Call Behavior» or «Send Signal».
Show Name - specifies that the Name of the item is shown.
The following view options are available for all action nodes excluding Opaque Actions and Value Specification Actions:
Show Linked Item Name - specifies that the Name of the Linked Item is shown.
Note that you can set this check box for the following items, even though they do not have a Linked Item: Destroy Object Action, Read Self Action, Test Identity Action and Value Specification Action.
The following view options are available for Opaque Actions and Value Specification Actions only:
Show Body - specifies that the value of the Body property is shown. This applies only to Opaque Actions and Value Specification Actions.
If you selected View Options by right-clicking the diagram background, the property values that you modify set the default view options for any action nodes that are added to the diagram there after.
If you selected View Options by right-clicking one or more selected action nodes, the check boxes you select change the view options of those items only.
