Common mapping options page (Integration for IBM Rational DOORS)
This page of Integration for IBM Rational DOORS allows you to specify the common settings for the Integration for IBM Rational DOORS Mapping.
In addition to the common navigation buttons, the following controls appear on this page of Integration for IBM Rational DOORS.
Mapping Type group:
• Surrogate Mapping option - specifies that the mapping is for Model items, rather than SysML Requirements.
• Requirements Mapping option - specifies that the mapping is for SysML Requirements and their supporting items and traceability relationships. This option is available only when the SysML Profile (Full Profile or Requirements Only) has been added to the Modeler model.
Note that the Mapping options for a surrogate mapping type are different from that of a requirements mapping type.
Mapping Modification group:
• Model Owner Only check box - specifies that the Mapping can be changed only by users that have Owner access permissions to the Model.
PTC Integrity Modeler Model group:
• Lock During Synchronization check box - specifies that the Modeler model is locked during the synchronization. By default, this check box is selected for new mappings and cleared for existing mappings.
IBM Rational DOORS Module group:
• Close on Completion check box - makes DOORS save and close the associated Modules on completion of the Synchronization.
• Save on Completion check box - makes DOORS save the associated Modules on completion of the Synchronization.
If neither of the preceding check boxes are selected, after the Synchronization is complete you can review the changes made to the Modules in DOORS before saving those changes.
Early Clash Detection group:
• Perform Clash Analysis check box:
◦ When selected, specifies that if any clashes will occur during the synchronization, Integration for IBM Rational DOORS will open the Clash Detection Results dialog so that the resolution of those clashes can be specified before starting the synchronization.
◦ When cleared, specifies that you will be prompted to resolve any clashes as and when those clashes occur during the synchronization through the Clash Detection During Synchronization dialog.
User Defined Filtering/Access Control DXL group:
• Path box - displays the path of the selected DOORS DXL file that is used when performing the synchronization.
• Select button - opens a dialog to select a DOORS DXL file that is used when performing the synchronization. If you type a new File Name and then click Open, Integration for IBM Rational DOORS creates a new template file that describes the functions that can be used for filtering and access control.

• Clear button - clears the path that has been set for the selected DXL file.
