Stereotype extension (UPDM - NAF aliases)
Creation
To create a Stereotype Extension:
From an Architectural Description or Service Description: right-click the Architectural Description or Service Description, point to New, point to NAF, point to All, and then click Stereotype Extension.
To apply a Stereotype Extension to an element:
From a Stereotype Extension: right-click the Stereotype Extension, point to Links, and then click Stereotype Extension Element. On the Links Editor dialog, select the elements to which you want to apply the Stereotype Extension.
From an element: right-click the element, point to Links, point to Applied, and then click Stereotype Extension. On the Links Editor dialog, select the Stereotype Extension elements that you want to apply the element.
To specify the ontology reference elements: right-click the Stereotype Extension, point to Links, and then click Ontology Reference. On the Links Editor dialog, select the External Individual, External Tuple, External Tuple Type and External Type elements that apply.
Appearance
A Stereotype Extension does not appear on any diagrams.

There are no relationships that are of significant importance to a Stereotype Extension.
