• From an
Architectural Description or
Service Description: right-click the Architectural Description or Service Description, point to New, point to NAF, point to Technical, and then click Standard Configuration.
• From a
Capability Configuration: right-click the Capability Configuration, point to New, point to NAF, and then click Standard Configuration.
• From an
NSV-1 Resource Specification: click the Standard Configuration toolbar button, and then click in free space on the diagram.
After creating a Standard Configuration, use its Full Text property to specify the text of the Standard Configuration.
Applying to elements
When you create a Standard Configuration it is applied to the owning Capability Configuration, unless the owning element is an Architectural Description or Service Description. You can apply a Standard Configuration to many Capability Configuration elements.
To apply a Standard Configuration to a Capability Configuration:
• From an NSV-1 Resource Specification: click the Note Link toolbar button, click the Standard Configuration, and then click the Capability Configuration to which the Standard Configuration applies.
• From an appropriate Modeler pane:
◦ Right-click the Standard Configuration, point to Links, and then click Standard Configuration Element. From the Links Editor, select the Capability Configuration elements to which the Standard Configuration applies.
◦ Right-click the Capability Configuration, point to Links, point to Applied, and then click Standard Configuration. From the Links Editor, select the Standard Configuration elements that apply to the Capability Configuration.
