Service atomic state (UPDM - MODAF aliases)
A Service Atomic State is a proprietary element that is required to model UPDM in Modeler.
Creation
To create a Service Atomic State:
From a Service State Machine: right-click the Service State Machine, point to New, point to MODAF, and then click Service Atomic State.
From an SOV-4b Service State Model: click the Service Atomic State toolbar button, and then click in free space on the diagram.

When shown on an SOV-4b Service State Model, a Service Atomic State appears as follows:
