Atomic state (service) (UPDM - DoDAF aliases)
An Atomic State (Service) is a proprietary element that is required to model UPDM in Modeler.
Creation
To create an Atomic State (Service):
From a State Description (Service): right-click the State Description (Service), point to New, point to DoDAF, and then click Atomic State (Service).
From an SOV-4b Service State Model: click the Atomic State (Service) toolbar button, and then click in free space on the diagram.

When shown on an SOV-4b Service State Model, an Atomic State (Service) appears as follows:
