Parameter (system) (UPDM - DoDAF aliases)
Creation
To create a Parameter (System):
From an Activity (System) or Operation (System): right-click the element, point to New, point to DoDAF, and then click Parameter (Service).
On the Select Type dialog, create or select the element that is the type of the Parameter (System), or create an untyped Parameter (System).
The type of a Parameter (System) can be a Performer (System), Energy, Exchange Element, Geo Political Extent Type, Materiel, Organization Type, System Context, Person Role Type, System, Responsibility, Service Access, or Software element.
A Parameter (System) can be represented by an Input Pin (System) or Input Pin (System) on an SV-4 Systems Functionality Description. You can create a Parameter (System) when creating an Input Pin (Service) or Output Pin (Service).
Appearance
A Parameter (System) does not appear on any diagrams.
