Required skill (UPDM - DoDAF aliases)
Creation
To create a Required Skill:
• From a Person Role Type or Responsibility: right-click the element, point to Links, point to Operational, and then click Required Competence. From the Links Editor dialog, select the required Skill elements.
• From a Skill: right-click the Skill, point to Links, point to Operational, and then click Required By. From the Links Editor dialog, select the Person Role Type or Responsibility elements that require the Skill.
• From an OV-4 Typical Organizational Relationships Chart: click the Required Skill toolbar button, click the source Person Role Type or Responsibility, and then click the required Skill.

When shown on an OV-4 Typical Organizational Relationships Chart, a Required Skill appears as follows:
