Web Interface website - Diagram and child items pane (Web Interface)
The middle pane can show diagrams and child items.
Diagram and Child Items pane - showing child items
When you click an item in the Navigation pane, Web Interface displays its child items (if it has any) in the Diagram and Child Items pane.
When there are one or two child items, Web Interface shows those child items tiled.
When there are three or more child items, Web Interface shows those child items using a carousel presentation, unless you have chosen not to use the carousel presentation in the Display Settings.
In the preceding example you can see that Package Dependencies has the focus in the carousel. You can make a different item have the focus by clicking it, dragging the slider control or moving the mouse wheel forward or backward. Clicking the item that has the focus in the carousel selects that item in the Navigation pane.
To show only those items that have names containing specified text: type the text in the Search box and then click the Search button.

Diagram and Child Items pane - showing diagrams, tables, matrices and decision set reports
The Diagram and Child Items pane can show content for diagrams, tables, matrices and Decision Sets:
When you click a diagram in the Navigation pane, the Diagram and Child Items pane shows an image of that diagram.
When you click a table or matrix in the Navigation pane, the Diagram and Child Items pane shows the table or matrix as an HTML table.
When you click a Decision Set in the Navigation pane, the Diagram and Child Items pane shows a decision set report for the Decision Set.
The report shows the decisions and status of the Variation Points and Variants that are associated with the Decision Set.
Rendering a diagram, table, matrix or decision set report for a Web Interface website can take a long time, so Web Interface uses the following strategy to maintain a good performance:
The first time you open a diagram, table, matrix or decision set report, Web Interface renders the content for the Diagram and Child Items pane.
The next time you open that diagram, table, matrix or decision set report, Web Interface displays the previously rendered content. However, when you click a diagram that is out-of-date, then that diagram is re-rendered. The check is made by comparing the date the diagram was last rendered with the Last Change Date of the diagram. You should note that not all changes to the diagram cause a change to the Last Change Date. Also, depending on whether the item’s parent (model or package) has been viewed, the items shown in the Navigation Pane may or may not reflect the updated diagrams.

This means that the diagram, table, matrix or decision set report may be out-of-date.
To view the date and time on which a diagram, table, matrix or decision set report was rendered: hover the mouse pointer over the clock symbol in the top left corner of the Diagram and Child Items pane.
To update a diagram, table, matrix or decision set report: click the Refresh Diagram Image toolbar button.
