Showing and hiding information on diagrams
Diagrams include view options that allow you to control the way in which items are displayed on a diagram. You can set the view options for individual items on a diagram. You can also set the default viewing options for new items that are added to a diagram. The main use for view options is to suppress details shown about an item, for example, its name or content.
To set the View Options for items on a diagram:
1. Select the items for which you want to set view options.
2. Right-click a selected item, and then click View Options.
3. For each entry on the View Options dialog, select or clear the check boxes as required.
To set the default View Options for items that are added on the diagram
1. Right-click in free space, and then click View Options.
2. For each entry on the View Options dialog, select or clear the check boxes as required.

The Reference section of this Help contains a topic for each diagram type. These topics indicate the item types for which you can set view options.
