Setting up a model so that only selected users can open it
1. From Model Explorer, expand the database that contains the required Model.
2. Right-click the Model whose access permissions you want to define, and then click Access Permissions.
3. Click the Access Permissions tab.
4. Clear the Public Read and Public Write check boxes.
5. For each user you want to grant access permissions for:
a. Click New.
b. From the Name list that opens, select the required User or Group.
c. Click the associated Access Rights cell, and then from the list click Read You can select Write or Owner.
6. Click OK.

If global access permissions have been granted at the database level, all users of the database can open the Model.
You can set the Model access rights through the Property Pages of the Model, which you can select in the Relationships and Packages pane in Modeler.
You require Owner access permissions to a Model to set its access permissions.
You cannot change the access permissions of a Model that is checked in to a CM tool.
