Setting up a model so that all database users can open it
1. From Model Explorer, expand the database that contains the required Model.
2. Right-click the Model whose access permissions you want to define, and then click Access Permissions.
3. Select the Public Read check box.
4. Click OK.
*
If global access permissions have been granted at the database level, all users of the database can open the Model.
You can set the Model access rights through the Property Pages of the Model, which you can select in the Relationships and Packages panes in Modeler.
You require Owner access permissions to a Model to set its access permissions.
You cannot change the access permissions of a Model that is checked in to a CM tool.
