Setting a tagged value for an applied tag definition
1. Open the Property Pages of the item to which the Tag Definition has been applied.
2. Click the tab for the Stereotype that applies the Tag Definition.
3. Select the Tag Definition entry, and then click its cell in the Tag Value column or click the Properties button:
For Tag Definitions that have a Boolean Data Type, a drop-down list appears from which you can select TRUE or FALSE.
For Tag Definitions that have an Enumeration Data Type, a drop-down list appears from which you can select one of the enumeration values.
For Tag Definitions that have a Reference Data Type, the Links Editor is opened so that you can select items to link to.
For Tag Definitions that have a Rich Text Data Type:
If you click the Tag Value cell, the text enters in place edit mode. Press Ctrl+Enter to start a new line, and press Enter to save the changes you have made.
If you click the Properties button, the text is opened in a text editor window.
For Tag Definitions that have a Text Data Type:
If you click the Tag Value cell, the text enters in place edit mode. Press Ctrl+Enter to start a new line, and press Enter to save the changes you have made.
If you click the Properties button, the text is opened in a text editor window.
4. Set the tagged value as required.

If you rest the mouse pointer over a tagged value, a ToolTip shows the first 80 characters of the tagged value.
