This property specifies whether the Mechanism for passing a Parameter is 'In', 'Out', or 'In and Out':

In - Specifies that the parameter is passed by value.

Out - Specifies that the parameter is passed by reference.

In and Out - Specifies that the parameter is passed by reference.

By default, the In option is selected.

This property is set on the Options tab of a Parameter's Property Pages.
