Grants users access permissions to the items scoped by a Package or model.
You can grant the following access permissions to a user or group:
Read Access Permissions- For a Model, means that the user has Read access permissions to the model, that is, the user can open the model.
Write Access Permissions- Means that the user has Read and Write access permissions to the model or Package. In addition to the access granted through Read access permission, Write access permissions allow a user to create, maintain and delete items that are scoped directly by the model or Package.
Owner Access Permissions- Means that the user has Read, Write and Owner access permissions to the model or Package. In addition to the access granted through Read and Write access permission, Owner access permission to a model or Package allows a user to change the Access permissions of the model or Package, and delete or rename the Package.
For detailed information about working with access permissions, see Overview of Modeler access permissions.
For a Package - By default, the access permissions are set to that of the parent model or Package when the Package is created.
For a Model - By default, the access permissions are set to that of the owning Database, assuming some have been set for the Database. If no access permissions have been set up for the Database, the user that creates the Model is granted Owner access permissions.
This property is set on the Access Permissions tab of a Model's or Package's Property Pages.
If a Model or Package is checked in to a CM tool, you cannot change that Model's or Package's access permissions.
You can use the Access Permission property as search criteria in the Find Model Items dialog.
The Access Permissions list must include at least one entry.
