Propagating the value of a parameter through a requires dependency
A Requires Dependency can propagate the parameter value of a source Variant to the target Variant when the Status of the source Variant is Included.
To propagate a parameter value through a requires dependency:
1. On a Variant Diagram, add the source and target Variants.
2. Click the Variant Diagram toolbar, click the
Requires Dependency button.
3. Open the Property Pages of the Requires Dependency.
4. Click the Variability Options tab.
5. Select the Propagate Parameter Value check box.
