Merging diagrams
You can merge a diagram into another diagram of the same type.

When you merge two diagrams, Modeler deletes the source diagram after the merge.
For most diagrams, the diagram items in the diagram that was merged will appear in the target diagram, placed in the same position. After merging a diagram, you typically have to tidy up the target diagram.
If a textual property has different values for the source and destination items, the destination value takes precedence. If a textual property has a value on only the source or destination item, that value will be set on the destination item after the merge.

To merge a diagram into another diagram
1. In an appropriate pane, locate the diagram that you want to merge.
2. Right-click the item, and then click Copy.
3. In an appropriate pane, select the diagram that you want to merge into.
4. Right-click the item, and then click Merge.
5. Click OK.
6. If the results of the merge are not as you want, on the Edit menu, click Undo.
7. Tidy up the diagram.
A log of the merge operation is sent to the Output pane.
