Linking a board to a board type
When you link a
board type to a board you assign a layout to that board.
Linking an existing board type from the diagram
1. Click the Options tab of the board's Property pages.
2. Select the required board type from the drop-down list.
Creating and linking a new board type
1. Click the Options tab of the board's Property pages.
2. Select (New) from the board type drop-down list.
Linking in the dictionary
1. Right click the Board, point to Links, and then click Dictionary Items.
2. In the left pane, select the appropriate folder or Package to display the required Board Type.
3. In the middle or right pane, select the check box associated with the Board Type you want to link.
4. Click OK.
Dragging board types
• Drag a board type onto your diagram to create a board of that type.
• Drag a board type onto a board on your diagram to associate that board type with the board.
