I cannot open a product line model or product model
You require a Product Link Model Access license to open a Product Line Model or Product Model. A Product Line Model is a model that contains a Variant. A Product Model is created from a Product Line Model.
If you attempt to open a Product Line Model without having a Product Link Model Access license, Modeler displays the following message:
Your license does not permit the use of PLE models.
If you attempt to open a Product Model without having a Product Link Model Access license, Modeler displays the following message:
No such feature exists

Note that to create and change variability items in a model, you require a Product Line Engineering license. In addition, variability modeling must be enabled for the model.
