Hiding inherited tag definitions and scripts
When you set up inheritance of Stereotypes, a sub Stereotype may inherit Tag Definitions and Scripts you do not want to use. You can hide inherited Tag Definitions and Scripts on a sub Stereotype without hiding them on the super Stereotype through redefinitions.
To hide an inherited tag definition:
1. On a Profile Diagram, add the Stereotype that inherits the Tag Definition you want to hide.
For a reference Tag Definition only: right-click the Stereotype, point to Populate, and then click Reference Tags.
2. Create a redefinition of the Tag Definition you want to hide: on the diagram, right-click the Tag Definition, and then click Redefine.
3. On the diagram, select the Tag Definition, and view its Property Pages.
4. Click the Usage tab.
5. Select the Hidden check box.
To hide an inherited script:
1. On a Profile Diagram, add the Stereotype that inherits the Script you want to hide.
2. Create a redefinition of the Script you want to hide: on the diagram, right-click the Script, and then click Redefine.
3. On the diagram, select the Script, and view its Property Pages.
4. Click the Order tab.
5. Select the Hidden check box.
