Defining stereotype inheritance on a profile diagram
1. On the Profile Diagram, ensure that the relevant Stereotypes are shown.
2. On the Profile Diagram toolbar, click the Generalization button.
3. Click the sub Stereotype, and then click the super Stereotype.
The sub Stereotype inherits Stereotype properties, valid Model Item Types, Tag Definitions and Scripts from the super Stereotype.
You can redefine a sub Stereotype's Tag Definitions and Scripts so that they can be changed independently of the super Stereotype's Tag Definitions and Scripts, for example, so that they can be hidden.
