Deleting an item from a diagram
You can delete an item from a diagram and optionally delete it from the dictionary at the same time.
To delete an item from a diagram but not the dictionary:
• On the diagram, right-click the item you want to delete, and then click Delete.
Alternatively:
1. On the diagram, select the item you want to delete.
2. Press the DELETE key.
The item is deleted from the diagram, but remains in the dictionary.
To delete an item from the diagram and dictionary:
1. On the diagram, right-click the item you want to delete.
2. Click Delete from Model.
3. If a confirmation dialog appears, click Yes.
Note that if you right-click a Note symbol that has a linked item, the Delete from Model command deletes the Note symbol and the linked item.
