Creating a specification slot
1.
Open the Instance's Property Pages.
2.
Click the
Slot Values
tab.
3.
Click the
Add Specification Slot button.
4.
Set the Slot Value of the Instance's Slot to the required State, which must be owned by the slot's feature type. See
Setting a text value or linked values of a slot
.
Note that if the Instance is shown on an Object Diagram, you can set the Specification slot of a State by dragging the State from a Modeler Pane to the Instance on the diagram.
