Creating a composite structure diagram
A composite structure diagram can be created from the Model, a Package, Class, Data Type, Interface or Signal.
To create a composite structure diagram from the model or a package:
1. Right-click the Model or Package in which you want to create the Composite Structure Diagram.
2. Point to New, point to Diagram, point to UML, and then click Composite Structure Diagram.
3. If you want to set default view options for items you add to the diagram:
a. Right-click the diagram background, and then click View Options.
b. For each entry, set the view options as required, and then click OK.
To create a composite structure diagram from a class, data type, interface or signal:
1. Right-click the Class, Data Type, Interface or Signal for which you want to create the Composite Structure Diagram.
2. Point to New, and then click Composite Structure Diagram.
3. If you want to set default view options for items you add to the diagram:
a. Right-click the diagram background, and then click View Options.
b. For each entry, set the view options as required, and then click OK.
