Adding the MBRE profile to a model (MBRE profile)
1. Ensure that you have Database Write access permissions to the Model's Database.
2. Open the Model to which you want apply the MBRE profile.
3. On the Tools menu, click Add Profile.
4. Select the MBRE entry, and then click OK.

• Do not make changes to the MBRE profile. Any changes you make will be lost when the profile is updated. You can create Tag Definitions outside of the MBRE profile, and link those Tag Definitions to Stereotypes in the MBRE profile. When the MBRE profile is updated, the links will not be broken.
• Do not create copies of the MBRE profile within a model, or create copies of the MBRE profile through XMI Import/Export. The copies of the MBRE profile will not work correctly and you will not be able to update the copies through the Update All Profiles command.
