Transferring access permissions through ScfUtils (Model Explorer)
ScfUtils provides a command line interface for performing Model Explorer functions.
If you have installed Modeler to the default locations, ScfUtils resides in the following location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\PTC Integrity Modeler\Modeler\Exe\SCFUtils.exe

To add a principal through ScfUtils
Syntax:
ScfUtils -transferpermissions Enterprise "<database-ref>" "<from>" "<to>"
Where:
• <database-ref> specifies the reference to the database where access permissions will be transferred.
Enter the database reference in the following format: \\SQL\<instance-name>\<database>
• <from> specifies a name for the user or group to transfer permissions from.
Type the domain followed by the Active Directory user or group name.
• <to> specifies a name for the user or group to transfer permissions to.
Example:
ScfUtils -addprincipal Enterprise "\\SQL\Server1@MODELER\ModelsDB" "domain\user1" "domain\user2"
