b. Expand the Server that owns the database for which you want to set access permissions.
c. If the Server that owns the Database is not shown, add the Server to Model Explorer.
For more information refer to Adding a server to Model Explorer (Model Explorer)
d. If the Database for which you want to set access permissions is not shown, show the server's databases and optionally bookmark the Database for which you want to set access permissions.
For more information refer to Showing a servers database
3. Right-click the database for which you want to set access permissions, and then click Access Permissions.
4. From the dialog, grant Owner and Write permissions to the required users and groups.
*
The database access permissions work in conjunction with database options set in Model Explorer, and access permissions granted to the model and its Packages.
When you create, clone (using default access permissions) or import a Model, the access permissions of the Model are set to that of the owning Database, assuming some have been set for the Database. If no access permissions have been set up for the database, the user that creates the Model is granted Owner access permissions.
