Parts Browser
The Parts browser allows you to view the ownership of parts and elements and also view the hierarchy of your model or package. The following is an example of a Parts browser.
The Parts browser also displays usages of each element including their inherited features with their owned and unowned members. These inherited features are denoted by a caret (^) preceding their names. As an example, if Part A redefines, feature types, subsets or subclassifies Part B, then Part B becomes the ancestor of Part A and all features of Part A are inherited by Part B. Similarly, if Part B has any ancestor, that also becomes an ancestor of Part A and all of Part A’s members are inherited by all of Part B’s ancestors. If an ancestor Part X of Part A is directly or indirectly in a Library Package, it becomes a library ancestor, and all its members become library ancestor members.
