Creating a derive reqt relationship through a Modeler pane (SysML)
This topic provides information for specifying requirements that are derived from a requirement through an appropriate pane. For information about specifying requirements that are derived from a requirement through a Diagram, see Creating a derive reqt relationship on a requirement diagram.
To specify requirements that are derived from a requirement:
1. Right-click the source Requirement, and select Links > Traceability > Derived.
2. For each Requirement that is derived from the source Requirement:
a. In the Selection Browser pane, select the Requirement.
b. Click the Link button.
3. Click OK.
Alternatively,
1. Right-click the source Requirement, and then select Links > Start Link.
2. For each Requirement that is derived from the Requirement you right-clicked:
a. Right-click the item, and then select Links > End Link.
b. From the Relationship list, select Derived, and then click OK.
To specify requirements from which a requirement is derived:
1. Right-click the derived Requirement, and select Links > Traceability > Derived From.
2. For each Requirement from which the source Requirement is derived:
a. In the Selection Browser pane, select the Requirement.
b. Click the Link button.
3. Click OK.
Alternatively,
1. Right-click the derived Requirement, and then select Links > Start Link.
2. For each Requirement from which the source Requirement is derived:
a. Right-click the item, and then select Links > End Link.
b. From the Relationship list, select Derived From, and then click OK.
