Service output pin (UPDM - NAF aliases)
A Service Output Pin is a proprietary element that represents a
Service Parameter.
Creation
To create a Service Output Pin:
◦ Click New Parameter to create a new Service Parameter and a new Service Output Pin to represent that Service Parameter.
◦ Click the command for a Service Parameter to create a new Service Output Pin for that Service Parameter.
The name of a Service Output Pin is set to that of the Service Parameter it represents.
On creation of a Service Operation Action, Modeler creates a Service Output Pin to represent each Service Parameter (Mechanism of Out or InOut) of the Service Operation that is used as the type of the Service Operation Action.
Note that after creating a Service Operation Action, Service Output Pin elements are not automatically created for new Service Parameter elements that are created on the associated Service Operation.
