Metadata (UPDM - NAF aliases)
Creation
To create a Metadata:
• From an element: right-click the element, point to New, point to NAF, and then click Metadata.
• From a diagram: click the Metadata button, and then click in free space on the diagram.

To apply a Metadata to an element:
• From an element: right-click the element, point to Links, point to Applied, and then click Metadata. On the Links Editor dialog, select the Metadata elements that apply to the element.
• From a Metadata: right-click the Metadata, point to Links, and then click Metadata Element. On the Links Editor dialog, select the elements to which the Metadata applies.
• From a diagram: click the

When shown on a diagram, a Metadata appears as follows:
To populate an element's Metadata on a diagram: right-click the element, point to Populate, point to Links, and then click Metadata Note Links.
