Service concurrent state (UPDM - NAF aliases)
A Service Concurrent State is a proprietary element that is required to model UPDM in Modeler.
Creation
To create a Service Concurrent State:
• From a
Service State Machine: right-click the Service State Machine, point to New, point to NAF, and then click Service Concurrent State.
To create a new compartment on a Service Concurrent State:
• From a Service Concurrent State: right-click the Service Concurrent State, point to New, point to NAF, and then click Service Sequential State.

The following relationships are of importance to a Service Concurrent State:
• Service Function elements can be invoked by a Service Concurrent State: right-click the Service Concurrent State, point to Links, and then click Do Service Function.
• Service Operation elements can be invoked by a Service Concurrent State: right-click the Service Concurrent State, point to Links, and then click Do Service Operation.
• Service State Machine elements can be invoked by a Service Concurrent State: right-click the Service Concurrent State, point to Links, and then click Do Service State Machine.
