Entity item (UPDM - NAF aliases)
Creation
To create an Entity Item:
• From a Logical Data Model or Physical Data Model: right-click the Logical Data Model or Physical Data Model, point to New, point to NAF, point to Technical, and then click Entity Item.
• From an NOV-7 Information Model or NSV-11 System Data Model, click the Entity Item button, and then click in free space on the diagram.

The following relationships are of importance to an Entity Item:
• Details relationships link the Entity Item to related Exchange Element elements.
• Entity Relationship relationships link the Entity Item to related Entity Item elements.
• UML Generalizations define Entity Item inheritance.
