Creating a SySim simulation scenario (SySim)
The SySim Simulation Scenario defines a SySim model execution scenario. SySim generates a Visual Basic form for the SySim Simulation Scenario.
To create a SySim simulation scenario:
1. Ensure that any State Diagrams in the SysML model are using ASAL (a PTC structured action language) to describe behavior, and the state machine event handling in the model is supported by SySim.
2. Add the SySim Profile to your SysML model.
3. Create a new Package to contain the SySim Simulation Scenario.
4. Right-click the Package you have created for the SySim items and diagrams, and select > > > S.
5. Type the name of the SySim Simulation Scenario, and the press the Enter key.
6. Right-click the SysML Block, and select > > .
7. Right-click the SysML Block, and select > > .
8. Right-click the background of the Internal Block Diagram, and select > > .
9. If you want to show the «SySim Simulator» stereotype on the Block, so it is obvious that it is SySim Simulation Scenario:
◦ Right-click the background of the diagram, and then click View Options.
◦ Click the Shown Stereotypes entry.
◦ Click the
Link button.
◦ Select the SySim Simulator check box, and then click OK.
◦ On the View Options dialog, click OK.
You can now specify the SysML model Blocks (subsystems) to include in the SySim Simulation Scenario through the Internal Block Diagram.
