When you select the Has Script check box, Modeler creates a Script object for the Variant or Variation Point through the Script association.

This property specifies script that can be used to verify a Variant or Variation Point.

A validation script can assess the Status and parameter Values of Variants and Variation Points in the context of the Decision Set that is being edited in the Decision Set Editor or Variant Selector.

By default, the value of the Validation Script property is set to blank.

You use the Code Editor to edit Validation Script code. The Code Editor language is always Visual Basic when editing Validation Script code, irrespective of the Language that is set for parent Packages and the Model. You can show the validation script of a Variant or Variation Point on a diagram: right-click the Variant or Variation Point, point to Add, and then click Validation Script.

This property is set on the Validation Script tab of a Variant or Variation Point's Property Pages. Note that this property is available only when the Has Script check box is selected.
