About Number Formatting of Chart Values
According to the International Numeric Conventions, the use of a period or a comma to indicate the decimal place differs from one country to another. The same applies to the use of a period, a comma, or a short space to separate groups of thousands within a number. For more information, visit the International Language Environments Guide page.
Formatting the Separators
Formatting the separators of chart values applies to all chart numbers.
In the PTC Mathcad Chart application, you can select:
a period or a comma to indicate the decimal place
a period, a comma, a space, or no-separator to separate groups of thousands
Formatting the Numbers
Formatting the axes values numbers applies to the selected axis.
In the PTC Mathcad Chart application, you can select decimal, general, percent, or scientific to format the values of each axis:
For number format general, select an exponential threshold
For number format scientific, select the number of decimal places
For number formats decimal or percent, select the number of decimal places and enable/disable trailing zeroes
