When a selected item in the Detail Pane can be altered, the Property Editor slides out on the right side of the pane.

The property editor also appears as a separate pop-up window when creating a new device, tag group, tag, etc. Property groups have section headings that can be expanded or collapsed (arrow button) to expose properties within the group. The Collapse All / Expand All control provides a short-cut to seeing or hiding all the properties. In addition, use the Show / Hide advanced properties control to see only basic and required fields or all properties, including advanced properties less likely to be altered.

Make any changes to the properties and click Save to apply your updates. (Or click Cancel or the small X in the upper corner to close the editor without saving.)
