About Importing and Exporting
This section describes what happens in Arbortext IsoDraw when you import (open) or export a graphics file in a format other than Arbortext IsoDraw’s native ISO (.iso) format. Both actions launch graphics data conversion routines with default settings you can adjust. The conversion settings for each graphics format are on separate Preferences dialog box pages. Some formats have separate settings for import and export, and some do not.
Arbortext IsoDraw also enables you do batch conversion; i.e., convert multiple graphics files from one format into another. You can do batch conversion between any two graphics formats Arbortext IsoDraw supports.
