Creo Parametric format is the file format of PTC’s 3D CAD software for product designs, Creo Parametric.

Arbortext IsoDraw CADprocess can import files with the extensions .prt (for an individual part file) and .asm (for a file containing an assembly of parts).

The Creo Parametric format always contains 3D data. This means that Arbortext IsoDraw CADprocess must be used for importing. Since only the outline structure is important for the Technical Illustration, only Creo Parametric elements that can be converted to surfaces or lines are imported. If assembly structures are present, these are adopted similarly to the IGES format.
