The Source Drawing
1. The figure below contains the technical drawing for the exercise. You can use the top view of the drawing as a template for the outline drawing.
All the dimensions needed to create the outline template can also be found in the figure.
2. Only half of the flange drawing is required for the outline drawing, as indicated in the figure. The bore diameters in the axis of symmetry are acquired using a theoretical center line at an interval equal to half the diameter of the bores.
Neither of the two exterior bores can be used.
If you do not wish to draw the outline drawing yourself, open the file rotationssym.idr (in the Arbortext-IsoDraw-install-path\Tutorial\Tutorial IsoDraw folder) which contains the ready-drawn outline drawing.
