Using the Library
Inserting Library Parts into a Drawing in the Correct Orientation and Size

Standard parts or production-specific parts are a key component of drawings, particularly in spare parts catalogs. Arbortext IsoDraw includes a comprehensive library of standard parts. New parts can be added to this library as required. You can learn how to prepare your own library parts for the library function in Creating Your Own Library Parts.
The following exercise involves using the library function to insert two hexagonal bolts of different sizes and orientations into a drawing so that they match the appropriate threaded bores. You will learn how this can be done easily at the click of a mouse.
You will be using the drawing from the file transform.idr. You used this drawing in Working with Transformations .
