A file is generated in DXF format. AutoCAD and many other programs can read this file.

You should not export Arbortext IsoDraw ISO illustrations to DXF before archiving them in a CAD database. DXF is a CAD format; not a graphics format. A substantial amount of graphics styling information is lost when you export Arbortext IsoDraw ISO illustrations to DXF.
