Configure the SSL Certificate for PingFederate
By default, PingFederate is installed using a self-signed SSL certificate. This SSL certificate is used for secured communication between partner applications and PingFederate. You must change the certificate for the SSO deployment. Complete the following steps to deploy the SSL certificate:
1. On the PingFederate UI, select Security > Certificate Management, and then select SSL Server Certificates.
2. Deploy the certificate using the available options on the PingFederate UI.
*
If the new SSL certificate is not signed by a trusted authority, you must add it to the trust store of partner applications expecting to make HTTPS connections with PingFederate (for example, JVM cacerts).
