Upgrading DPM on a Customer-Owned System or Cloud

A DPM system that has been deployed on a customer-owned system or cloud can be upgraded using Solution Central or by downloading the solution from the PTC Software Downloads page and importing the solution package.

Instructions are provided for each supported upgrade path:

• From 1.2.0 to 1.2.1:

◦ Upgrading DPM from 1.2.0 to 1.2.1 Using Solution Central

◦ Upgrading DPM from 1.2.0 to 1.2.1 Using the PTC Software Downloads Page

• From 1.1.0 to 1.2.0:

◦ Upgrading DPM from 1.1.0 to 1.2.0 Using the PTC Software Downloads Page

◦ Upgrading DPM from 1.1.0 to 1.2.0 Using Solution Central

If you are upgrading from DPM 1.1.0, you must first upgrade to DPM 1.2.0 before upgrading to DPM 1.2.1. Direct upgrade from DPM 1.1.0 to DPM 1.2.1 is not supported.
