To Use a Central Catalog for Designs Loaded from Diagram
1. Create a base design in Diagram from the external Diagram symbol library.
2. Save a copy of the design as a DGE file.
3. Load the DGE file into PTC Creo Schematics.
4. Submit all generated catalog items to the Central Catalog.
After you have created a Central Catalog, follow these steps to link additional designs:
1. Save a copy of the design as a DGE file.
2. Load the DGE file into PTC Creo Schematics.
3. Set the design to use the Central Catalog.
4. Compare the internal catalog items with the Central Catalog items.
