About This Guide
This design software package encompasses the Creo Schematics application of PTC. This guide describes how to generate and configure licenses, and how to install and maintain Creo Schematics using the PTC Installation Assistant.
System administrators who are installing Creo Schematics for the first time must be experienced in application installations and must have a good understanding of operating systems.
How to Use This Guide
This guide supplements the tooltips in PTC Installation Assistant and provides installation instructions and reference information. To generate or update licenses and then install or reconfigure Creo Schematics, see the following chapters:

PTC provides documentation for download at PTC.com and also on other installation media. The following forms of documentation for Creo Schematics are available:
A Help Center with search facility and quick links to helpful information.
Installation and Administration Guide and other books as PDF files. To view and print the books, you must have the Adobe Acrobat Reader installed.
You can access the Help Center when you click . When the Help Center is installed locally, it will load from the installation. When it is not installed, the application will automatically open the Help Center on the Web from ptc.com.
To access all PTC Documentation from PTC.com, you must have a valid user account. Go to the New Account page to request a user account or call the Customer Support.

Additionally, you can report any documentation issues using the online Case Logger tool. On the second Case Logger page, select a product and then select Help Center / Documentation from the Technical Area list. Upon submission of all information, a case number is returned immediately.
