In Creo Flexible Modeling, use the Attach feature to attach open quilts to solid or quilt geometry when the open quilt does not intersect the geometry. The open quilt is extended until it attaches to the quilt or surface to which it is being merged.

The Attach feature can be used to reattach removed geometry that has been moved to a new location.

When the open quilt contains stored attachment information, you can use this information to attach the quilt to the model geometry the same way that it was attached previously. This means that material is added or removed, and rounds and chamfers can be optionally recreated, the same as previously.

Different solutions are available for attaching geometry. Within the Attach tool, you can switch through the available solutions using Previous and Next on the Options tab and select the solution that best fits your requirement.
