The Material Removal tab provides an integrated simulation environment where you can view the material being removed from the stock. By simulating the material removal, you can analyze the cutter locations and check for collisions and gouges. You must first create NC sequences to simulate the material removal. You can save the in-process stocks for use later.

You can view the ModuleWorks plug-in related information by clicking

on the Material Removal tab. You can specify the path for the simulation set-up file using the configuration option—moduleworks_setup_file. Click File > Options > Configuration Editor to open the Configuration Editor, where you can add or modify this configuration option.
